FLIX
FLIX stands as one of the premier interest groups within XLRI, recognized as the vibrant nexus of entertainment and digital engagement (Guardians of Entertainment). Rooted in a profound appreciation for cinematic artistry, FLIX champions the fusion of diverse creative mediums, including film, literature, and gaming. Our mission is steadfast: to cultivate a community that celebrates the boundless realms of imagination and expression. Committed to enriching student life, FLIX provides robust software assistance, educational film screenings, and a platform for showcasing student talents. Our repertoire includes curated movie and sports screening events both on and off-campus, and collaborative ventures with esteemed partners such as Cinepolis Cinemas at P&M Mall. This year marked a significant milestone as FLIX proudly inaugurated its first Film Festival along with a pop culture quiz, digital gaming (Call of Duty), and welcoming submissions from beyond the confines of XLRI. With unwavering dedication, FLIX endeavors to expand the horizons of this festival and continue fostering a culture of cinematic appreciation and artistic exploration. FLIX aims to hold several innovative events this year including podcast sessions if feasible.
