PEACE (People for Environmental Awareness and Conservation of Ecosystems)
The PEACE committee at XLRI is a pioneering student-led body committed to championing environmental conservation, sustainability, and climate action. Its core mission is to raise awareness about the critical importance of preserving the biosphere, enhance XLRI'S sustainability index, and prepare future business leaders to integrate sustainability into their professional and personal lives. The committee organizes impactful initiatives, from policy-level discussions to grassroots activities, collaborates with national and international partners, and engages the student body through workshops, awareness campaigns, and hands-on environmental projects. By doing so, PEACE fosters a culture of environmental responsibility that extends beyond the campus, inspiring positive change in the wider community.
